Inglewood House Covid-19 Policy

Check In/Check Out

  1. Guests will be contacted one day prior to arrival to ensure they do not have any symptoms of Covid-19 or, in the previous 14 days they have not been in the company of anyone who has Covid-19.
  2. If any of these circumstances apply we will unfortunately be unable to accept you as a guest. A cancellation fee will not be applied
  3. Your check in will be planned to avoid contact with/overlap with other guests therefore a window of 30 minutes will be allocated to handle arrival/check in. This must be adhered to.
  4. Where possible, guests details will be requested in advance in order to reduce check in time. Guests will not be asked to sign, we will do this on your behalf.
  5. Contactless payment will be requested.
  6. Please note that if guests have any enquiries during their stay, they should call us from their mobile phones rather than coming to our quarters.

 

Health and Hygiene – Common areas

  1. Inglewood House will reduce the numbers of rooms for occupation at any one time to promote Covid-19 safety.
  2. Hand sanitising gel will be available at the point of entry and exit and other key areas. Disposable gloves and wipes will also be available.
  3. All common areas will be fully sanitised in accordance with Government guidance. Common areas will be cleaned hourly when guests are in residence between 8am-10pm.
  4. The dining room has been closed because of inability to provide safe social distancing. All guests have their own fridge which will be stocked with breakfast items prior to their arrival. A substantial homemade breakfast will be provided for them to help themselves to in their rooms.
  5. Guests will be reminded about social distancing through signage and modelling. Guests will be asked to make their way expeditiously through all common areas.
  6. Staff will wear masks at all times whilst interacting with guests.
  7. Outdoor furniture will be cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

 

Health and Hygiene – Rooms

  1. Inglewood House will reduce the numbers of rooms for occupation at any one time to promote Covid-19 safety.
  2. Rooms will be fully sanitised in accordance with Government guidance.
  3. Rooms will be left unoccupied with windows open for a minimum of 24 hours before we enter to clean. Cleaners will wear PPE and windows will be open throughout cleaning. All cleaners will adhere.   4. Cleaned rooms will be lock for the next booking check in.
  5. Bed linen and towels will be laundered at 60 degrees in line with government guidance.
  6. Anti-bacterial soap will be provided in all guest bathrooms.
  7. Decorative soft furnishings and reading materials have been removed from bedrooms and common areas.
  8. Pillows will be placed “out of use” for 72 hours after use and replaced with fresh pillows
  9. Room servicing during stays has been suspended and all guests will have anti-bacterial cleaning materials in their rooms.
